Journal Entry: Sun Nov 29, 2009, 10:53 AM

November is over! I can't believe it! It seems like October just started. D:

I'm enjoying the skin thing, its really quite pretty. I might leave this journal up...like forever, just to liven up my homepage. XD

Just wanted to congratulate any of you out there who made it through NaNoWriMo. If that's you, give yourself a huge pat on the back, you awesome thing. :D

I can't believe the first semester of the school year is almost over, either. After this I have to change some classes, mainly my Freshmen Writing one. It makes me really sad. That is a wonderful class--I learned so much. *sniffle*

Anyway, I really just wanted to try out the journal skin thing and give a shout out to the conquerors of Nano.

Cheers!
~Ricky

P.S. This skin is beautiful, isn't it? ~jennyleigh is such a master.

Help Wanted

Sun Sep 6, 2009, 11:55 AM
Recently I've been actually trying to get better at drawing, which can be...frustrating. especially since I can never think to things to draw...and when I do I never have my sketchbook with me. Also, inspired by all the amazing digital art I see on here, I found a program on our computer (Gimp) and decided to try out.

Its a lot harder then it looks. -_-

Anyway. The point of this ramble is that, while I know I'm not good enough to do commissions, I would be super duper happy to do my best with requests... And the other point is if anyone on here uses Gimp and would be willing to help me, or at least direct me to a good tutorial, I would be most grateful. And bake you cyber-brownies.

I wonder how many people are gonna read this.

Three bucks on none.

it won't fit my entire quote. that thing below this. My quote wont FIT. Any way here it is, in its entirety.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words ... words might hurt me deeply, causing great emotional, mental, and psychological damage leading to a lowered self-esteem and decreased work-related efficiency."
